The place was very tidy and staff were extremely helpful, I liked excellent location. Tourist area so close to the hotel. Also, royal farms arena was not far away.

I stayed at the hotel for 6 days in the end of this September for conference at the nearby convention center. The stay was not bad. However, after I came back to my country, I found out that the hotel have charged quite amount of money on my credit card for no reason. Even, the hotel did not give me any receipt and did not mentioned about the charge to me when I checked out. During last month, I made some phone calls and wrote some emails to get my money back, but the hotel does not reply to my emails and rudely hung up my phone call. I am very disappointed on their attitude to deal with this issue, and will never stay at the Holiday Inn again!!

We loved that it was so close to Arena for our concert.
We really would have liked to stay in the main hotel, the West Tower rooms seemed a bit small and outdated.

Location and the price was right. Staff was friendly and helpful compared to other hotels I've stayed at in the same area.

The location was fairly close to the inner harbor, which was nice. The room was clean, the beds comfy, and everyone was very nice and helpful. The food was great (both breakfast and room service for dinner). The pool was wonderful!
Figuring out parking was a bit tricky- the key is to pull up in front of the lobby for check-in, then you can park in the garage under the building. The building itself is rather old, the elevators are really bumpy and the door knob on our door fell off.

Convenience
Room too small - strong smell of deodorizing spray - dark

Great location and pleasant front counter service.
Outdated room carpet. Smell of urine in the bathroom of room 710. Poor attitude of breakfast table service.

Desk staff were helpful. Hotel was close to the conference center. The bed was comfortable. Parking attached to the hotel. Coffee shop in lobby.
Overpriced for what you get. Our room was noisy - next to the elevator - and hallway noise was easily audible. At three different times, the ice machine did not work. Housekeeping staff need better training or supervision. Coffee supplies were not replenished the first day. The room was not thoroughly cleaned or checked - I found a plastic flower and a USB cable under a table. Parking seemed overpriced. Elevators were small and waits seemed long.

The rooms are spacious and clean. Very comfortable.
I didn't appreciate that there wasn't any clean towels at pool. We had to travel back to our room in the cold dripping wet.

LOCATION
THE BREAKFAST TOOK FOREVER AND IF YOU GOT THE BUFFET IT WAS EMPTY, AS WELL AS COLD FOOD. AT CHECK IN DEPOSIT WAS MORE THAN LISTED AND STILL DIDN'T RECEIVE DEPOSIT BACK, AS WELL AS THEY FORGOT TO GIVE US OUR BREAKFAST COUPON BUT DEFINITELY REMEMBERED TO CHARGE MORE FOR A DEPOSIT. YOU PAY A LOT FOR PARKING AND THE ROOM THE LEAST THEY CAN DO IS ENSURE YOUR BREAKFAST IS WORTH THE STAY. ROOMS WERE NOT SO BAD BUT THERE WAS A BUNCH OF SPOTS THAT COULD OF USED A LOT OF EASY CLEANING!

The location and rates were reasonable.
The bed was not very comfortable and there was mold in the bathroom. Looks like the mold was painted over.
